Nightshift“, by Lars Becker, a program that has securely established itself over the past years and is now a brand in its own right, stars high-profile talent such as Barbara Auer, Armin Rohde, Minh-Khai Phan-Thi. In every new „Nightshift“, they are assisted by renowned guests such as Uwe Ochsenknecht, Mara Maranow, Uwe Kockisch, Sibell Kekili, Oskar Ortega Sanchez, Cosma Shiva Hagen, Götz George, Katja Flint and many more. Narrated at great speed, the stereotype good-or-bad pattern is superseded by reality. Lars Becker, whose premiere of „Nightshift“ is almost a tradition at the Hamburg Film Festival, was awarded the Special Prize „Hamburg Film Festival Cutlery“ by Festival Director Albert Wiederspiel for his merits in the Production City Hamburg. This Special Prize was awarded for the very first time. The tenth episode of „Nightshift“: „World of Ice“ was completed in May 2010.
